Connor McDavid played for Team Canada at the 2013 U18 World Championship and was the tournament's MVP with eight goals and six assists. Coming into the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, McDavid was ranked the top skater by scouts and was selected by Edmonton with the first overall pick. The future is bright for the young star as he develops physically and competes at the top level.
